John Lind
SVP, ORIGINATION
John brings more than two decades of diverse account management experience and extensive relationships in the commercial and industrial real estate industries to his role as SVP of Origination. John spent 12 years with Safari Energy before it was acquired by Aspen Power in 2022. John’s deep knowledge of both distributed energy and real estate translated into hundreds of solar projects developed for national portfolio owners and investors across the U.S.
John previously served as Managing Partner with real estate advisory firm NOI Strategies, a division of CohnReznick, where he implemented operational cost saving strategies for large REITs. He was also SVP of Commercial Services with Zenta, an Accenture company, in charge of operational efficiency strategies for large real estate owners and investors. Additional experience includes Warmington Group, a Bay area developer, Legacy Partners and Sumitomo Bank. Based in New York, John is a frequent speaker at real estate and sustainability events nationally. He holds a BS in Resource Economics from The University of Maryland.
