Jake Blaine
EVP & Head of Origination
In his role, Jake Blaine is tasked with leading and streamlining Aspen Power’s origination efforts across the U.S. Jake has developed, acquired, and/or sold portfolios of renewable assets across all verticals of the solar, battery storage and demand response sectors, including utility, residential, C&I and community solar. Jake brings more than fifteen years of experience in business development and marketing in the renewable energy and demand side energy management sectors to his role at Aspen.
Most recently Jake served as a Managing Partner & Co-founder at PearlX, a leading developer, owner, and operator of Virtual Power Plants. Prior to PearlX, Jake held various leadership roles in sales and marketing at Stem, EnerNOC and Tompkins Conservation. Jake began his career in furthering the clean energy economy at Bloomberg and earned his BA at Trinity College in Hartford, CT.
