The solar industry is navigating a major shift as the “One Big Beautiful Bill Act” accelerates the phase-out of clean energy tax credits. In an interview with Tricia Crimmins for Morning Brew, Aspen Power CEO Jorge Vargas discussed the disruption this causes to long-term infrastructure planning. Still, he emphasized that solar remains competitive—especially through power purchase agreements, as companies look to lock in energy prices ahead of future increases.
“We’re ready to embrace what’s next. And in a world where power prices increase, we have a product that can compete,” Jorge said. “We will emerge from this.”
