Scott Delaney
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
As the COO and cofounder of Aspen Power, Scott Delaney is responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of Aspen’s renewable energy projects from inception to completion. Scott brings to Aspen over 30 years of professional experience building and leading world class teams in the development, construction, and operation of real estate and energy projects.
Prior to forming Aspen Power, Scott held executive positions at Morgan Stanley, Spear Point Energy, and PFMG Solar financing, developing, constructing, operating, and selling renewable energy projects. Scott began his energy and engineering career operating nuclear propulsion systems onboard Los Angeles Class Submarines while serving in the US Navy. Since that time, he has developed over 1 GW of solar projects throughout North America, the Virgin Islands, and Guam. Prior to his career in renewable energy, he spent 15 years in the real estate development industry with Lennar Corporation and Shapell Homes promoting and incorporating renewable energy and energy efficiency into tens of thousands of homes throughout the United States. Scott is a graduate of the University of California at Irvine and the Naval Nuclear Power School.
