Logan Boutilier, PE

Executive Director

Logan Boutilier has over 15 years’ experience in renewable energy. Mr. Boutilier began in the industry as a design engineer and project manager designing and building several hundred MWs of PV throughout the United States. He has experience in the development, construction, permitting, and operation of PV installations, including technical due diligence review of over 2 GW of generation capacity from residential and C&I to distributed generation and utility-scale projects.

Most recently, Mr. Boutilier operated and expanded the distributed generation technical due diligence team at DNV (formerly DNV GL, DNV Kema Renewables, and BEW Engineering), a global leader in independent engineering. Mr. Boutilier developed project management and contracting skills and experience working for Kiewit Pacific, Co., an international industrial contractor. Shortly thereafter, Mr. Boutilier worked with Borrego Solar, developing, designing, and building distributed generation solar projects throughout the United States. Mr. Boutilier received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Environmental Engineering from the University of California San Diego.
